Woodstock is a wonderful Cape Town suburb, always vibrating with creative energy. Old buildings on the foot of Table Mountain are refurbished and preserved. Where they can't be saved, graffiti artists decorate the ruins with colourful, vibrant, positive imagery.
Cafes, art galleries, breweries, restaurants, street performers, and car watchers can be seen around every corner. The area is a melting pot of backgrounds, ideas, and cultures. Woodstock is trendy but tough. Just like these shoes.
Our Woodstock Chelsea boots are made from strong, full-grain, oily waxy, leather, which softens and darkens, as it ages. This leather's waxy finish initially causes it to scuff easily. If the marks bother you, they polish out easily enough with a clean cloth.
However, let them settle, you will see that what starts out as marks, become traits of a deep and lasting character. This specific leather is proof that some things just get better and better with age!

I chose the correct size but I had to stretch the leather out a bit before I could wear them, Overall a good comfortable shoe though.

This show is só beautiful on the foot, very smart indeed. However, it us a bit of a longer cut. My husband is usually a UK 8 and I downsized to a 7 in his shoe, but it was still too long. So just check your sole cm measurements before buying.

Extremely Comfortable
First time with a Veldskoen - not sure if it is a thing, but a basic idea of walking your shoes (and feet! oh God the blisters!) in might be helpful for natural leather shoe neophytes? After the blisters healed and both the shoes and my feet got used to each other, it was great! Now its a great walk around to and from work!

Beautifully made shoes from quality leather. Decent price too. Had to wear them in a bit since the top of the one side hurt my leg because it was digging into my skin. However, they fit like a like after a few weeks. I like the little South African flags at the back. Highly recommend.

Insole keeps coming loose and slipping to the back of the shoe

Kindly note our innersoles are unfortunately not glued down for the purpose of should a customer want to remove the innersole to place their own orthopaedic innersoles in should they wish to. You are welcome to visit your nearest cobler and then have the innersoles glued down, should you wish to. We do hope this information is helpful.😃
Awsome love my Velskoene. I curenrtley have 8 pairs from the diffrent styles and colour. But the chelsea is my Fav.
They look better in real life than they did on the web. Very high quality leather and finish. The fit is superb, nice wide toe-box which I like, and they do not move around on my feet excessively, which is often a problem for Chelsea boots.
