Beautiful shoe, but tight, it's made for smaller feet I think.

The shoe is great however if you've got chubby feet, maybe try getting a size bigger, mine are supper tight. I tried putting in socks etc hoping they will open up but they are still tight.

I love the shoe but I think it could be much better if it was a bit wider. Seems it is a shoe made mainly for people with thin or slender feet.

Research on crepe soles brought mixed results, so queried with Veldskoen - didn't get much info from them, in fact they didn't really know what I was talking about? Either way, shoes are super comfortable and soles seem like they'll last longer than anticipated. Would've been 5 stars if Veldskoen knew their product a little better.

I can honestly say that I will never wear another Vellie other than the Heritage origin for Summer time farm work ever again. They were super comfortable from the first wear. I have put a ton of mileage on them already and will probably have to get them resoled soon-ish. Absolute favourite.
