Introducing the Veldskoen MoveMe Traveller Boot

At Veldskoen, every step we take can make a positive impact. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our latest collaboration with Hollywood actress Briana Evigan, resulting in a second social-impact boot designed to support Briana’s NPO, Abundant Village. Introducing 'The Traveller' boot – a stylish and meaningful addition to your wardrobe that leaves a positive footprint wherever you go.

The new brown leather MoveMe boot, named ‘The Traveller’ is the latest creation in the Veldskoen X MoveMe Range. This boot comes nearly two years after the launch of the first design, 'The Ranger,' which featured black leather. The Traveller continues the distinctive MoveMe range’s design ethos, with the words 'Kind' and 'Happy' inscribed on its soles. These positive messages, much like The Ranger’s 'Love' and 'Trust,' reflect the values that Briana Evigan cherishes and promotes.

Traveller Boot Launch 7 May 2024

Fashion and lifestyle media gathered at Cape Town’s beautiful Tintswalo Atlantic Hotel to attend the official launch of the Traveller boot hosted by Briana and Veldskoen co-founder Nick Dreyer and CEO Driekie Zondagh.

Making a Difference with Every Purchase

When you purchase The Traveller boot, you’re not just buying a pair of shoes – you’re contributing to a greater cause. 50% of the net profits from the sale of these boots will go towards Abundant Village’s initiatives in South Africa. This means your purchase helps improve water, food, and energy security, and supports the upliftment of local communities.

Abundant Village, spearheaded by Briana Evigan and co-founder and friend, Stuart Newton, has been making a significant impact in Bushbuck Ridge, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Over the past three years, the organisation has enhanced educational facilities, secured medical supplies for a local clinic, created a walking labyrinth for mental well-being, and provided employment opportunities for women. Their most recent impact trip saw further improvements, including refurbishing a sports area and building an eco-friendly outdoor kitchen to feed up to 150 children daily, with plans to expand to ensure each child receives more than one meal a day.
