Awesome shoes!
This was my first of five pairs of Veldskoen shoes and are still my favorites. They feel great all day whether I’m walking, standing, or teaching. I love their simplicity of design and comfort. I’ve received several compliments on these which is something that I never got regarding my footwear before.

I absolutely love these shoes. Like any shoes they take a few outings to wear them in, but now they feel like slipper! I also love they support a great cause. I feel good and look good!

Great. I'm a field guide and spend many hour a day with these shoes on my feet walking and driving in the bush. very comfortable and really happy with the result.
The Wear Only Twice Kariega
I bought the Kariega's and after going out to dinner, the shoe had a stain (no idea where from). I contacted customer service (Gift) who basically told me the shoe was done and to buy the cleaning product but it probably would help. I said this is ridiculous, a R1700 shoe that I've worn literally twice - one to the office and second to a quiet dinner. I was then told to buy shoes again and thrown a low brow discount. I asked to be escalated to CS manager, I'm still waiting to be contacted. That was two weeks ago. And when this request to review the product dropped in my inbox - I thought it was the right time I open this up to the public. I wasn't going to, but the fact that I was treated poorly then ignored I thought it apt. If a shoe can't even take a walk to the restaurant... maybe it should remain on the shelf.

I already have a pair of Heritage J-Bay that I enjoy. When ordering the Kariega online i phoned to ask about sizing as they are lined. I was recommended to buy the same size as the J-Bay. When they arrived i could not get them on my feet as they way too small. So I drove to Veldskoen and swopped them for the Heritage Origin. This involved a 250 km round trip from my house near Hermanus. An expensive exercise!
