What a "lekker" pair of shoes...from day one it felt as comfortable as a pair of shoes I have worn for years. Will definately not be my last pair...
Not my first rodeo as you can see. Absolutely love the shoes. My only sadness is that the lifetime of the soles does not match that of the uppers. Fortunately I have a great street cobbler who makes a slit in the sole for me and stitches the sole to the upper. I know that is more costly from a production perspective, but I would happily pay for that extra longevity. Re-glueing soles simply doesn't work. Cheers, Richard

This was my first of five pairs of Veldskoen shoes and are still my favorites. They feel great all day whether I’m walking, standing, or teaching. I love their simplicity of design and comfort. I’ve received several compliments on these which is something that I never got regarding my footwear before. 🙂

The product is excellent However the after sale service left much to be desired. Your advert was misleading to say the least and applying a discount code at check out is a con to get out of the deal! Why would I want to discount a sale that benefits the Kariega Rhino Project??? Surely the greater the margin the better the proposition for the Rhino fund. You should just add the cleaning kit as a thank you to sweeten the purchase.
Absolutely the softest leather imaginable ! Great soles and cushioning . The inside is leather lined including the footbed so this reduces perspiration . Stitching is top notch ! Oh , and the service is outstanding. I had to exchange for a smaller size , the couriers were dispatched with no fuss or extra cost . Highly recommended
